In the news: Australian steel supply

There has been a lot of talk recently about the steel industry and whether it’s right to be importing from foreign countries in an attempt to save money, when the real cost is Australian jobs.

Here at Serenity Homes, we strongly believe in using quality, Australian made products and this includes our steel. As part of the Serenity Advantage, we also insist on using BlueScope 90mm steel frames, as opposed to the standard 70mm. Steel is a very popular building material as it is strong, durable, not susceptible to white ants and is generally quicker and easier to assemble.

Suburb to Watch: Stonyfell

We have recently received council approval and begun works on our Stonyfell 2 project, with the underfloor plumbing being completed and concrete being poured this week.

We've seen an increased interest in Stonyfell in recent months, which we can hardly say is surprising given the beautiful scenery and abundance of parks, walking and cycling trails and waterfalls, all within close proximity to the city.
